Acne is not a skin type itself, so the whole face has to be taken into account in the treatment. Acne skin is not automatically oily, it can also be very dry from the surface. Natural cosmetics are an excellent choice for treating acne, since they let the skin breathe free, and they do not include xenoestrogens that interfere with hormone function. You should primarily choose skin care products according to your skin type, but in general, it is recommended to cleanse skin with a mild gel or foam. Some other great options are the double cleansers (cleansing oil and foam) and using cleansing lotion or milk with the help of a facial cloth. Facial toner suitable for your skin type is worth using morning and night.
Moisturising the skin is important, so consider choosing a light emulsion with more moisture than cream. As a complementary product under the moisturiser, choose a brightening and purifying serum, which balances the skin's own acid mantle, i.e. hydrolipid film. A lightweight, balancing facial oil is also good for acne skin. Oil boosts the lightening of possible scars. If there are no sore or infected blemishes on your skin, exfoliate once or twice a week with an exfoliator containing mild fruit acids. Apply a purifying and brightening mask afterward. Diet is an important part of acne treatment. We recommend following a dairy-, sugar- and gluten-free diet, as well as favouring pure, fresh and unprocessed foods.
